First Session Project Introduction
Before we start AMA, Could you give an introduction of yourself and how can play an important role in Alien Worlds?
Mr. Morty: My name is Pramod. I go by the name Morty in many crypto groups on discord and telegram.
I am a game designer by profession and a graphic artist. I’ve been a part of the Alien Worlds team right from it’s inception.
My past experiences have been in designing rules, levels and economies for mobile and pc games. My contributions to the game has been mainly in the area of design, creating NFT art and managing a team of external developers to ensure product delivery on time.

Since my background is from video games, I have an understanding of the development cycle for games which makes a perfect fit for the team
Q1. What is Alien Worlds? And how is the story behind the Alien Worlds creation?
Mr. Morty: Thank you for the question, Let me introduce you to the project
In 2019–2020 we saw that NFT hype increased drastically with games like Crypto Kitties. Decentraland on Ethereum, Splinter Lands on Steam/Hive blockchain and many more.
Alien Worlds is an NFT defi metaverse where NFT collectibles have utility in-game and are fully user-owned and uses both WAX and Ethereum blockchain
• Initial games are mining and staking
• Planets are DAOs, each have their own fungible token
• Universal fungible token of the metaverse is Trilium — an ERC-20 token also on WAX
Moreover, Alien Worlds is the only cross-denominated project running on Ethereum and WAX. Trilium, the metaversal fungible token, is both
Another way to look at Alien Worlds with a little bit of backstory and premise is that it is a futuristic simulation of a virtual world where mankind was forced to leave earth due to factors like pandemics, climate change etc and they then went to set up new worlds outside earth where everything is tokenised in the form of NFTs. From land plots, to tools and weapons to everything else there is. The Alien Worlds metaverse has it’s own metaversial currency called TLM (fungible erc-20 token) which can be mined using tools which is then used to participate in various activities the metaverse has to offer.
Alien Worlds features 6 planets DAOs into space where they compete for control of TLM. Landowners in Alien Worlds compete or come in allegiance with other land owners to make their land most attractive to miners who mine TLM and NFTs. Miners continuously keep discovering new mining strategies to optimize their mining efforts.
There’s a big DAO element as well which aims to mainstream DAOs in a gamified way
We love DAOs the team behind Alien World is the team that built eosDAC the first Community owned block producer and DAC/DAO enabler on EOS blockchain.
We wanted to bring gamification in the way people use DAOs. So we had to the idea to build something that combines NFTs, Defi and DAOs together. Our creative director Rob is space enthusiast so making something that is space themed with Alien made sense and that’s how Alien Worlds was born
Q2. What is so exciting about Alien Worlds, which might make Alien Worlds different from all other project out there?
Mr. Morty: Great question. Everything in Alien Worlds is tokenized in the form of NFTs. There are 6 categories of NFTs in the Alien Worlds Metaverse at this time. Land is where you mine and where events can take place and for which there is a whole land roadmap, tools are used to mine Trilium, Weapons and minions will be used in the fighting game(s) and quests and avatars are your face in Alien Worlds. Artifacts will be brought on line soon and they have a variety of different properties and functions. NFTs in Alien Worlds are not just static. Our NFTs have game play characteristics built in to their attributes.
So some land and tools (which are both NFTs) yields more Trilium when you mine it, some produces more NFTs, some can be mined more frequently. In earlier generations of NFTs, they mainly had collectible value — think CryptoPunks which is really cool if are a collector — but now NFTs have attributes recognised by the gaming smart contracts
Additionally, we have the easiest onboarding for non-crypto friendly players, thanks to WAX blockchain.
In the near future some new Alien Worlds NFTs will also have mutable attributes, for example. Minion Health Points, we haven’t seen other projects using mutable attributes.
This can add more depth to the gameplay of fighting games (release date TBA) and add more dynamics to the game
Q3. Please provide some information about your roadmap, How Alien Worlds is progressing so far? And what Alien Worlds is currently focused on?
Mr. Morty: Sure.
We’ve named our roadmap a “Star route” on our website as where we are heading there are no roads available there.
So, far we’ve completed our MVP (minimum viable product) launch which gained about has over 13k unique users in 6 weeks span, while the game was in beta
The MVP includes features like Mining, Staking, Setting Land commission.
Next we released shining, where players can combine 4 similar NFT and shine them to get a better looking NFT and better stats.
We have planned a lot of interesting things around land, which is one of the key elements of the Alien Worlds metaverse. You can find everything about the Land roadmap here

Q4. Please tell us more about your token? what utilities does the token have and what benefits will tokens holders get?
Mr. Morty: The Alien Worlds metaverse has it’s own metaversial currency called TLM (fungible erc-20 token) which can be mined using tools which is then used to participate in various activities the metaverse has to offer.
The supply is 5 bln and there is an ever decreasing amount of inflation. The liquid supply is much much lower than this at this time.
Currently you can only get TLM from mining or from promo packs but we are planning a larger sale to explorers/players.
The major uses of TLM are/will be
a) staking for governance of planets and possible rewards,
b) upgrading items (through shining etc..),
c) entry into quests / battles,
d) healing weapons/minions/other items,
e) terraforming and land improvement,
f) internal incentivisation of other activities.
Alien Worlds has large Roadmap with a game life cycle and token release for at least next 7–10 years. This is a great point for all TLM holders.
Q5. What are some achievement that Alien Worlds has achived so far? And what are Alien Worlds upcoming plans, Especially 2021?
Mr. Morty: Thank you for the question.
-Alien Worlds launched just 6 weeks ago and is already the top blockchain game according to Dappradar in terms of Daily Active users.

-We has did 3 successful NFT packs sales in a Dutch Auction style (first of its kind) and successfully sold out
-Alien Worlds is a proud member of BGA (Blockchain Game Alliance)
-We are continuously building more partnerships with other projects in the ecosystem, some projects that we’ve already partnered are Dark County, The Horrors, KOGs and we are working with CryptoMonkeys to bring in some cross promotional NFTs from both projects
As part of the Roadmap, the following gameplay elements and modifier are envisaged to be released in the future
- External collectibles
It is possible for NFTs built on Atomic Assets to be used to play Alien Worlds genesis games (mining, fighting). For example, A player could set their GPK card as their avatar, giving the player specific defined attributes
-Modifications to Land NFTs
Ability to ‘name’ land
Ability to sell advertising links on land
Ability to develop / build on land and have those assets modify the productive capacity of the land
-Multiplayer games
Users should be matched with other users of a similar level using a rating system. Tournaments could be implemented at some future stage alongside squad matchups
Minion extensions
An offchain game element in which Minion NFTs can be sent to fight each other
“Mana”, a variable describing the users’ power with deploying Minions, to be integrated into the game

Q1. What does the Alien Worlds name stand for? There are interesting stories behind every successful project, and of course you have to work hard ever day. Can you share one of these interesting stories with us?
Mr. Morty: I think the interesting stories would be how the project got well accepted with the WAX and ETH NFT community.

Q2. Why did ALIEN WORLDS choose WAX WALLET to save the NFT and and can it be traded and traded for your NFT?
Mr. Morty: We chose WAX as it is has the most easiest onboarding for non-crypto friendly users. All you need is an email address to set up a cloud wallet account on wallet.wax.io
Although, remember our token TLM is primarily on ETH (fungible erc20 token) wax is used as a layer 2 solution to easy onboard, fast and feeless transactions.
Yes NFTs can be traded on secondary marketplaces like atomichub.io, collectables.io, waxstash.io these are some of the famous ones
Q3. All of the Alien Worlds digital assets are minted on the WAX Blockchain.Can you tell us the win-win benefits of Alien Worlds and Wax Blockchain? Why did you choose to collaborate Wax Blockchain with your digital assets?How can we access Wax Blockchain?
Mr. Morty: Great question.
Yes, Alien Worlds NFTs are on WAX these will exist on WAX for the reasons like feeless transactions and near instant confirmations, unless when ETH2.0 launches and there is a better alternative.

Account creation is free and doesn’t require you to hold any crypto to keep your account active.

Q4. NFT is currently a newcomer who makes the project of launching its own NFT but for us we still don’t understand its use and function, why did you launch NFT ALIEN WORDLS for what purpose you incorporate NFT on your gaming platform?
Mr. Morty: This is a great article on NFTs. When I first heard about NFTs I was very confused but now you can find a lot of resources on the internet. I find this one explains NFTs very well.

Now to answer the 2nd part of your question. Everything inside Alien Worlds is tokenized and every thing that exist inside Alien Worlds is an NFT. NFTs gives users the true ownership of the asset they own and since Alien Worlds is imagined as a futuristic simulation of a virtual world there is a need to provide true ownership of items, avatars, land parcels etc that player hold
Q5. Security & User Interface are the Most Important Aspect that Users see on a platform. How has Your Project worked on this? Is Platform suitable for Newbies in the crypto world?
Mr. Morty: As far as the security goes we are working with one of the best minds in the blockchain space and our contracts are regularly checked by the veterans from this space as they are continuously contributing to our development.
We are in talks with sentnl.io for auditing our smart contracts. Sentnl is a very reputed firm in the EOSIO space.
Alien Worlds tokens and NFTs right now exist on WAX blockchain which is an EOSIO blockchain which allows for msigs permission for every action if needed. All our contracts are msigs which makes the project very secure.
Additionally, once the planet DAOs are released planets will be governed by the planet guardians and the planet contracts will also be msigs, which provides a lot of security on the planet levels also
As mentioned before it is easy for someone from non-crypto background to play Alien Worlds. The only pre-requisite is wax cloud wallet account
And to get a wax cloud wallet account all you need is an email or any top social media accounts, like facebook, twitter, steam etc
The Third Session “Live Question”
Q1. What do I need to play Alien Worlds? Do I need virtual reality equipment, controls or something very sophisticated? Or is a laptop enough? If so, what GPU and RAM power are needed for good performance?
Mr. Morty: playing Alien Worlds is free. Alien Worlds follows a Play 2 Earn model. All you need to get started is a PC browser (mobile works too, but is not very optimized yet) and wax cloud wallet account. You can get a wax cloud wallet account at wallet.wax.io and the go to play.alienworlds.io. We will set you up with a free avatar and a free shovel and you are good to go.
Q2. What is your strategy for building a strong community? Do you agree that the power of the community will lead your project to develop globally? What services do you provide to the community?
Mr. Morty: For every project community is a very important part of their growth and the same goes for us. We have started a public trello board for the community to give us suggestions and improvement that will help us build a game that our community would like to play.

As answered above there is a lot of community dev work that is actively being pursued by some of our dedicated community members
Q3. What are the types of users on your project? How do you keep all users to stay with your project for the longterm?
Mr. Morty: This is a very good question.
Alien Worlds can cater to a variety of type of players. Players who are available and can spend a decent amount of time to mine TLM can use tools that don’t have a long charge delay, usually the trade off for a tool with less charge time delay is that the amount of TLM mined per mine will be very low. Players who use tools with long charge delay can come back once in a while and bag a lot of TLM per mine.
This also means they have less chance to get more NFTs. So, there are very interesting dynamics here that will bring players back to the game to get more TLM and mine more NFTs.
Additionally our future roadmaps includes frequent events which will keep things exciting for players to come back
Q4. I’ve been researching about your Landowner-specific NFT drop technology, can you give a brief explanation about what is it?
Mr. Morty: andowners who wish to make it more attractive for miners to mine on their land can both lower the % Trilium Commission charged as discussed above, but can also ‘seed’ their land with non-Core (non-Federation created) NFTs — these are called “Landowner-offered NFTs”.
To offer an NFT, Landowners send NFTs to a contract, then define ‘pots’ of those NFTs each with their own probabilities attached, which must sum to 1. For example, the Landowner could put 1000 NFTs into pot 1 which would have a 75% chance of being drawn, 500 NFTs into pot 2 which would have a 15% chance of being drawn, 50 NFTs into pot 3 with a 7% chance of being drawn, and 5 NFTs into pot 4 with a 3% chance of being drawn (percentage probabilities, and number of NFTs are all for the Landowner to decide). There is a maximum of 10 pots the NFTs can be divided between.
A maximum of one Landowner-offered NFT would be paid out per mine, but a Landowner-offered NFT will not always be paid out:
For a mine action to successfully result in a Landowner-offered NFT, the mine action must first have cleared Stage 1 described in “Amount of NFTs Paid Out” above
A mine action that fails to clear Stage 1 (because, for example, the Tools used have poor NFT Luck attributes) will not be eligible for a Landowner-offered NFT
If a mine action clears Stage 1, then the probabilities in the pots defined by the Landowner will be run to result in a Landowner-offered NFT payout
Landowner-offered NFTs must be created on the Atomic Assets contract (atomicassets) on the WAX blockchain and must not contravene the Dacoco Gmbh Terms and Conditions; in particular they must not be breaching copyright protections of the author, or contain offensive material. Landowners who attempt to offer NFTs that fail these tests may be blacklisted.

Q5. You and i must agree that The Blockchain Game Alliance (BGA) creates a platform for decentralized games of the highest quality to learn from each other and innovate in this rapidly growing space.
Q. Is there any connection between the Alien Worlds project and BGA?
Is there a background in your team with BGA?
Mr. Morty: We are one of the many members of the Blockchain Game Alliance. This helps us to get exposure in the blockchain gaming space, strike conversations with potential partners, investors who are also a part of the alliance, share our experiences and learn from other members experiences etc. Overall it is a great group to be a part of if someone is in the Crypto gaming space.
